These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of FaceCheap’s website, admin dashboard, and API services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are

FaceCheap provides an API for face-related operations (e.g., comparing faces and counting detected faces). For questions, contact us at codemane.adm@gmail.com.

2) Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws where you live and operate.

3) Accounts, authentication, and API keys

• You may need to sign in to access the dashboard and manage your API keys and subscriptions.
• API keys are secrets. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity performed using your keys.
• If you suspect a key is compromised, revoke it and generate a new key from the dashboard as soon as possible.

4) Subscription plans, quotas, and billing

• Usage is subject to the limits of your current subscription (e.g., calls granted vs. calls used).
• Paid plans are billed via Stripe and may renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the dashboard.
• We may change plan features, pricing, or quotas over time; any changes will be reflected in the dashboard or in updated Terms.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Use the Service to process images of individuals without appropriate legal basis and required permissions (e.g., consent where required).
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or security protections.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through abuse or excessive automated traffic.

6) Your content and license to process

You retain ownership of images and other content you provide to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant FaceCheap a limited, non-exclusive license to process Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service, enforce security, prevent abuse, and support billing and support requests.

Image handling: images are processed in real time to produce a result and are not stored as files by FaceCheap. After processing, image data is discarded from memory. We may retain limited request metadata (for example, the image URL or filename you provided, timestamps, and a result summary) for usage tracking, quotas, security, and support.

7) Service reliability and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, and we may impose limits to protect the Service and its users.

8) Third-party services

We use third-party providers (e.g., Stripe for payments and Google/Firebase for authentication and data storage). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or caused harm to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceCheap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via the dashboard). Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
